that's excellent for work while you're not feeling well!

thanks deanna :)

well serena, there are little 'mistakes'... i'll chalk it up to loopy from fever this time :)

jacky and nandas... yeah i'm much better now (knock on wood)... symptoms just seemed to keep coming. i have weakened kidneys, so i think it may have started there. lots of thyme tea, water and spoonfuls of honey :)

you know jude and jacky, i didn't remember to make a wish... well she's still not finished so the rest will be :wish:fully done! hope i don't wear her out! hahahahahhaha

Hi there, in my December journal quilt I'm starting with the woven stars too. Just started basting them ;-)
(Drawning mandala's is great: I do it for quite some years now. There are the traditional Tibetan ones with very strict rules, the geomatrical that many people make, but we in our group make our own piece of the universe after a meditation. Sometimes the meditation brings the subject.. sometimes things that are on your mind at that moment. It's great to try !!!...and there's no right or wrong: it's YOUR universe and no one elses! ;-) )

Howdy! thanks for stopping by my place!
Hope you're on the mends now. Stitching
that cheery face must have helped
with the healing?
I haven't posted in several days with so much
to "stuff" to take care of. Ruby's quilt is nearly
completed and will post it by the end of the week!
take care!

i want to do more stars this way els. this was the first time applique of a triangle and it was a good challenge for me. --- thank you for this advice on the mandala! i've looked over the net and i wasn't really understanding it, but i felt drawn to it. i tried one last night in stream of consciousness, so this morning i'll check what i see there in this moment...

hey cristina, i will be over to look (and comment now!) on your quilt. much love!

hey miss grace! yeah i thought it funny i hadn't done one yet either... --- yes! the stitch... it is so much about the stitch. and i feel i'm always holding back on them. and i don't know why...

what a tremendous amount of fun packed into such a little package! i love, love, love the multiplicity of fabrics packed into such a small bit of weaving. it's almost like a tiny tapestry! hope you are feeling better but thankful for the burst of creativity that your illness sparked! :)
