Happiness is excitement that has found a settling down place. But there is always a little corner that keeps flapping around.

the nieces said she is a wolf woman. i had a body for her... a rose print dress, an apron with little pockets. but i got the feeling she didn't want it. so i'll let her just stay in her head for now.
She's magnificent! And I agree, a dress and apron would not do for her at all. Unless she was the big bad wolf in disguise. I love her eyes. It's like she's looking right into your heart and soul!
listening too. every little thing. her eyes are magnificant...the embroidery is wonderful. i don't know what to think tho. you can have all her qualities and still the dress and apron.. pockets. you would need pockets. i think maybe i looked a little like this when my kids were little. and i liked dresses. retro aprons.
well you know, i thought the apron would go... i saw a fitting image of her in it. but once i sewed it all up, it just didn't work. i had to take it all apart. i still don't see a body for her yet... and i love aprons too grace, the older the better. and pockets. :)
thank you jude... :) i don't know what they signify yet... she hasn't told me. maybe her status in society...
no, i haven't heard of it... wolf things have been showing up for me here lately. i've been very attracted to them... and been reading about them... oooh may i borrow it?
and yes she has teeth now... and the top of her tongue is there too. can barely see it though.
thank you cristina... i was hoping you'd come by :) love all the photos you posted on your blog. it's so beautiful out you and grace's way. and that next stitch on that one big giant thread :)
'when granny would come, she'd make us sugar cookies. she'd tell me and your uncle to get under her quilt stretched out between the chairs. she'd place a plate of those cookies down there and tell us to watch where she'd send the needle down, and for us to poke it back up right next to where she'd sent it down from.' -my dad
about me
i'm the head misfit of the little hearts. i love to sew. i love the :magically: made vs. the man made. classic underachiever with all the -ics, -ions and -esses... i like the feel of things. sometimes i drift to other planes. the way i appear here is all that :matter:s here, so i (guess i) should be here.
